With decades of experience in the hairdressing industry, I am incredibly passionate about all aspects of hair and absolutely love what I do. At Roots Hair Co., I have dedicated my career to perfecting my craft and staying at the forefront of hair trends through regular training and education.

I specialise in colour and have a passion for creating beautiful, individual hairstyles. I welcome everyone and love working with all hair types, lengths and styles to create a look that makes each client feel fantastic.

My goal is to leave you feeling confident and empowered, knowing that your hair reflects your unique personality. I want every visit to Roots to be a relaxing, enjoyable experience where you can truly unwind.

Hi, I’m Sam!

My journey into hairdressing began when I was just 14, working Saturdays in a salon. I quickly realised how much I loved the industry, and after leaving school I began an apprenticeship alongside completing my college training.

I’ve worked in salons ever since and became self-employed in 2016, building my experience and developing my own loyal client base along the way.

I love all aspects of hairdressing, but colouring is where my real passion lies. I really enjoy creating beautiful, personalised colours that complement each client’s individual style and help them feel confident in their hair.

For me, hairdressing is also about the people. I love getting to know my clients, making them feel comfortable and creating a friendly, relaxed experience in the salon.

I’ve always had a passion for hairdressing and knew from a young age that I wanted to make it my career. I started with work experience in a local salon before beginning my apprenticeship at 16, and I’ve now been hairdressing for over 15 years.

During my career, I went on to open and run my own salon for nine years, an experience I’m incredibly proud of. I later made the decision to step away from salon ownership to spend more time with my little boy and enjoy a better balance between family life and the career I love.

Over the years, I’ve continued to develop my skills through a variety of professional training courses and have been fortunate enough to receive several awards along the way.

One of the things I love most about hairdressing is the relationship I build with my clients. For me, it’s not just about creating beautiful hair — it’s about getting to know the person in my chair, creating a relaxed and welcoming space, and making sure every client feels comfortable, confident and good about themselves.

Hi, I'm Lois! I'm a fully qualified beauty therapist with a genuine passion for helping people feel relaxed, confident and cared for. My journey began at Champneys Beauty College, where I trained to high professional standards and discovered a real love for massage and skincare.

I've achieved ITEC Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications, earned the internationally recognised CIDESCO Diploma, and was proud to be awarded Champneys Massage Therapist of the Year.

For me, beauty therapy is about much more than the treatment itself. I want you to be able to switch off, feel completely comfortable and take some well-deserved time for yourself.
